While speaking on his relationship with artists, singer Skales shared a funny encounter of him and Burna Boy when they were both working together years ago.
Skales said whenever there is news about Burna Boy being violent or having an altercation with someone, he is always scared because of a traumatic experience he had with him.
He revealed that he had a copyright issue with Burna Boy's team which resulted in a disagreement. He said he angrily sent them a provocative mail instead of solving matters amicably.
One night, he was alone in a public place and he saw a shadow that looked like Burna Boy in the dark. At first, he wasn't sure it was Burna Boy. As the person approached him, he grew scared because he thought he wanted to attack him.
He said, "Sometimes I get scared when I hear something happened or they shot someone. I'm not saying Burna did it but I haven't spoken to Burna in a while. We had one copyright issue with his team. So I blasted them and everybody that was involved.
Through an email, I insulted everybody. So I later saw Burna and he was in the dark. There was someone there who ran to me that looked like Burna. The person just hugged me.
I told him, 'Yo! I thought you were trying to attack me. I thought you saw one email'. And he said he didn't see anything and he didn't even know anything was going on."
However, he appreciated Burna Boy's music, saying he believes he is the best artiste to ever come out of Africa. "Do you know why I keep featuring Burna? It's because I think Burna is amazing. I knew Burna from Port Harcourt, when I used to go to Port Harcourt to do shows, through Leriq."
