Dr. Chima Amadi, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Centre for Transparency Advocacy, spewed some shocking facts regarding the economic situation of Nigeria. He disclosed that the different remedies from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank cannot revive the Nigerian economy.

He further added that if the IMF and the World Bank were to combine their policies, they still wouldn't be able to rescue the 133 million poor Nigerians from poverty. According to him, the economic growth strategies formulated by developed countries for the developing ones are not feasible. That's because those strategies wouldn't suit the sorry conditions of the developing nations.

Chima Amadi's study was submitted on Saturday, at the 4th National Colloquium which was held at Sokoto. He stated that Nigeria's inflation rate was highly disappointing when compared with other African and Asian countries.
