What is National Youth Service Corps?
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a program that all Nigerian graduates are mandated to partake in. It was established by the Nigerian government during the military era to ensure the active participation of Nigerian graduates in the country's development. Since 1973, thousands of University and Polytechnic graduates have been required to enroll in the National Youth Service Corps programs for a year.
The first Director-General of NYSC was Ahmadu Ali. He served from 1973 to 1975. But the current Director-General is Yusha'u Dogara Ahmed. The headquarters is at Abuja and application is open to all Nigerian graduates below the age of 30.

Before you can qualify for NYSC registration
1. You must have graduated from a higher Institution of learning in Nigeria or overseas.
2. You must be below the age of 30 and have obtained a degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized institution.
3. You must have the required documents, including a statement of result, a school identity card, and a passport photograph.
