Ini Edo shares surrogacy journey In recent interview
Popular Nigerian actress Ini Edo has shared the story of her journey to surrogacy.
She has revealed the reasons why she opted for surrogacy in a recent interview.
Recall she had her daughter whose name is Light in 2021 and didn't show her in public until the little girl turned 2 earlier this year.
She had taken to social media in March to celebrate her daughters 2nd birthday.
Ini Edo spoke in an interview with Chude Jideonwo who is a media personality, recently and then revealed why she went for surrogacy. She mentioned how she had been trying to concave her own child but had experienced several miscarriages. She says after trying and trying she eventually got tired.
She then thought about surrogacy because she wanted to have her own child weather or not she had a husband.
She says she wanted it to be her child, her egg. She was grateful that her eggs were still good so she went ahead to find a surrogate.
Ini Edo also shared that she lives motherhood and still looks forward to it. She then revealed that she had frozen some of her eggs in case she wants to go through surrogacy again.
She has once mentioned about a few years back that she also didn't want any parent conflict to arise in the future so she preferred surrogacy. She was speaking about issues that may arise between the father and mother of the child incase of a split up.
