At the time of the revelation, many thought Simi was having a relationship with Falana Folarin, Falz. The chemistry between this two birthed their joint album, ‘Chemistry’. The two seem to be meant for each other and many fans seem to have joint them in holy matrimony, in their fantasy.
Then, the private wedding ceremony between Adekunle Kosoko and Simisola took place, with no media coverage. The only peep we had was in the music video of their song ‘Promise me’.
Daddy Deja, as many fans call him was alleged to have been cheating on Simi with an estranged woman. This news was revealed by a popular blogger on Instagram, ‘Gistlover’ on Sunday night, took Twitter by surprise. In recent times, most of the news on Gistlover have been believed to be genuine, which makes Nigerian social media users want to believe this news.
As of the time of writing this article, no party is yet to confirm the genuineness of this rumor. The only other side of the story was from popular Twitter influencer, Pamilerin, who debunked the rumour.
A week ago, Simi had a fallout with popular hit producer, Samklef, who was trying to sexualize another female artist, Tems, by uploading a picture of her and tweeting he can’t wait to see Tems backside. This, obviously got Simi angry, which she replied him with, “WTF is wrong with you”.
Trust Nigeria’s social media space to always air their opinions and too quick to take sides. Many have been seen to crucify Adekunle Gold, while some are saying they’ve given up on love, if Adekunle Gold actually cheated on Simi. Some were already in the pity for Simi.
Simi, who seem to be unbothered about the whole situation, was busy with the new Jack Snyder’s movie ‘Justice League’, uploaded on her instastory, expressing her pain in getting to see the movie and sitting four hours just to enjoy the movie.
