It is a very dangerous slogan, Police warn Nigerians against saying "No gree for anybody"
Men of the Nigerian Police Force have warned Nigerians against using the slogan, "No gree for anybody." While parading 67 suspects who had committed different crimes, ACP Olumiyiwa Adejobi said in his speech that the 2024 theme is a very dangerous slogan and implored people to desist from saying it.
He said, "And let me say it again. On this note that the new slogan of 2024 for our young ones is not to gree for anybody. We have been informed to my intelligence that this slogan is coming from a revolutionary sector that may likely cause problems across the country. No dey gree for anybody is been seen as just a normal talk. But in security business, in security community, we have seen it as a very very dangerous slogan that can trigger crisis"
The police believe that the slogan could trigger the youths into committing crimes and disrupt the peace in the nation. Hence, everyone should be warned against saying those words. Since the start of 2024, that slogan has been used by a lot of people to the extent that everyone now sees it as the new theme for 2024.
