It's a slap on our women, Filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu says after Bobrisky won best-dressed female
Nigerian filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu has reacted to the award that Bobrisky was given at a movie premiere. He believes that the award was a slap on the faces of every single woman who was present at the premiere because these women invested in their appearances.
He felt disgusted over the fact that Bobrisky won that award and wrote, "How can a man win the price for 'the best dressed female' in an event organized by human beings? Is this sincerely not a slap on the faces of our women who are working hard every day to be the best of themselves?"
He added how he sometimes wonders where Nigeria is headed due to the surprising events that have been happening lately. Ever since Bobrisky was awarded the best-dressed female, Nigerians have been expressing their disgust over it as many weren't okay with publicly honoring a transgender woman.
