"It's hard for me to forgive and forget" Singer Joeboy reveals

Popular Nigerian musician Joeboy has revealed how he finds it hard to forgive and forget. Joeboy is a Nigerian singer and songwriter and his real name is Joseph Akinwale.

He recently shared string a recent interview that he struggles with forgiving people. He stated this while speaking on the Zero Conditions Podcast. A conversation about forgiveness had come up at some point in the interview and it was then he mentioned that he finds it hard to forgive and forget.

He shared how he usually tries his best to do good to people and revealed that it really hurts when people then hurt him when he wouldn't do such to them. He says that he does everything right right it comes to relationships so he takes offence when someone does something to him which he wouldn't do to them

He mentioned that "It's hard for me to forgive and forget, I can't lie. I'm sorry but I'm trying though. I can hold a grudge because one thing I like to do when it comes to relationships with people is to make sure I do everything right. So when someone acts funny with me I take it personally because I'd never do that to you, why are you doing that to me? That's why I take it personally

He revealed that when he eventually forgives the person, he would rather not have the person around him. He says he isn't quick to cut people off but when they repeatedly do something which hurts, he will cut them off. He also revealed that it helps to reduce the expectations you have about people.

He also added "I might even forgive but it would take a while though, but I'd forgive, It'd be very difficult to give the person access again,"
