Nollywood actress Alice Iyabo Ojo has filed a N500M lawsuit against fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin over her libelous and defamatory statements.
Recently, actress Lizzy Anjorin has defamed and laid false allegations on Iyabo Ojo during her previous live videos. The duo have been in an unending feud for many years.
Actress Lizzy Anjorin has accused her colleague Iyabo Ojo of many things including accusing her and her daughter Priscy of having a threesome with singer Naira Marley, having a hand in the death of late Mohbad, alleging that Iyabo's partner Paulo is an ex-convict and that he was sexually abused in jail, that Iyabo Ojo is the face behind the popular Gistlover blog and that she is having an affair with NURTW Chairman Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo.
The statement issued to Lizzy Anjorin by Iyabo Ojo's lawyer Olabimpe Folakemi Ajegbomogun stated that she misinformed the public and her numerous followers with false information about Iyabo Ojo nicknaming her "Shepeteri''. She also published several names asking the public to select one for the actress to bear.
The lawsuit provided that actress Lizzy Anjorin issue a public apology to Iyabo Ojo in four national newspapers within 14 days. She should also tender an apology to Iyabo Ojo on her social media pages consistently for a period of 14 days. Lastly, Lizzy Anjorin should pay a sum of N500,000,000 in damages to Iyabo Ojo within 14 days.
Iyabo Ojo's lawyer stated that if Lizzy Anjorin fails to comply with the instructions, she will be forced to face the law.
