Jadon Sancho's loan move to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester United has been hit with a temporary setback.
There have been reports United are close to brokering a deal with Dortmund to offload the embattled winger on a short-term loan deal. Talks were set to be on the fast lane with Borussia Dortmund ready to foot a third of Sancho's wages.
Now, a report by Plettigoal says the move is currently on hold as Man United and Borussia Dortmund are yet to reach an agreement for the player.
Plettigoal reports;
"There is still NO AGREEMENT between Dortmund and Manchester United for the loan of Jadon Sancho. Final details yet to be sorted out, so no green light yet."
It is yet to be determined the cog on the negotiation process but the report adds Manchester United are still waiting for a greenlight from Dortmund to putting finishing touches to the deal.
Should the deal collapse, Jadon Sancho could be back to Manchester United with no guarantee of regular game time due to his fallout with Erik ten Hag.
Sancho was reportedly keen on the loan move to his former club following his nightmare at Old Trafford.
It has been four months since he tasted action with Manchester United due to the fallout - a condition that has made Borussia Dortmund refuse a buyout clause in the deal.
As of the time of filing this report, Manchester United are reportedly hoping to see through the deal but are waiting on Borussia Dortmund for final agreement.
