Popular Nigerian musician, Joeboy was stopped from performing in Saint Lucia due to use of offensive language.

His real name is Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa, but he is popularly known as Joeboy.

They had stopped his performance because of the use of a cuss word while on stage.

Joeboy revealed that he and his team weren't aware of such a law that banned the use of certain words during performances.

He shared the news of this incident on social media. He was set to perform at an event in the Eastern Caribbean island nation.

They then abruptly stopped the performance because his DJ had used a cuss word.

He revealed how excited he was to perform in Saint Lucia for the first time until this happened. The set was cut off and his DJ was taken off the stage.

The entire incident happened because his DJ had said, ‘Make some f*cking noise’.

He said they didn't know they couldn't do such. His DJ had immediately apologized but they still didn't let him perform.

He revealed that one of the promoters had even threatened to call security on them and so he didn't perform.

He then addressed his fans in Saint Lucia saying he would still perform for them.
