Nollywood actress Joke Silva has debunked another rumor circulating online that her husband Olu Jacobs has passed away.
This is the second time in a row that Olu Jacobs's death would be making the rounds online. Back in 2022, news circulated online that the veteran actor passed away. 81-year-old Olu Jacobs has been battling Lewy body dementia for years now.
Joke Silva took to her page to dismiss the rumors about her husband's passing as she warned the public against spreading false information about her family. She said her husband is alive, hale, and hearty, sharing a recent video of him.
In previous interviews, Joke Silva had revealed that she no longer recognizes her husband due to his battle with dementia. She opened up on her struggles of taking care of him and how it has taken a toll on her mental health. Since he became ill, Olu Jacobs stopped acting and took a break from public events. Though his wife Joke Silva still features in movies and is seen at public gatherings.
