Gunmen on motorbikes shot and killed four people, including tea merchants, a commercial driver, and roadside vendors.
The killings took place in the Ondo town neighborhoods of Sabo and Igba.According to a source, cultists attacked a rival cult organization. The gunmen's mission was unknown because they shot at random, killing three people in Sabo and one in Igba.
A commercial driver who stopped for lunch in the vicinity was shot and killed as well.
Fumilayo Odunlami, the spokesman for the Ondo Police Force, said she would make a statement after receiving a thorough briefing.
