FC Porto have completed the signing of midfielder Fabio Vieira from Arsenal on loan, according to reports.
Reports indicate that a buy option wasn't included in the deal, with FC Porto expected to cover his salary.
Vieira earns about €53,000 per week at Arsenal, and his contract with the club runs until June 30, 2027.
He will become their 4th signing this summer, having already secured the services of Samu Omorodion, Francisco Conceição and Deniz Gül.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal was tied to the move of Francisco Conceicao to Juventus, which has reportedly been finalized.
Vieira joined Arsenal from FC Porto on July 1, 2022, and he has made 49 appearances for the club, scoring 3 goals and providing 9 assists in all competitions.
Fabio Vieira has failed to claim a consistent shirt at Mikel Arteta’s side, as other players have been favored over him.
Vieira functions primarily at the attacking midfield department, but can also utilized at the central midfield and right midfield units.
