Kaduna train en route to Abuja derails at Jere
A Kaduna train en route to Abuja derailed at Jere, Borno State, about an hour after it took off. It was reported that about three carriages went off the track, forcing the train to halt. After the incident, men of the Nigerian Police force and Army swamped the scene to put everything in order.
Reports show that armed men have helped eliminate the worries in the passengers' minds as they worked to put everything in place. Also, the technicians disengaged the affected areas of the train and helped realign it to ensure the train was set to continue on its journey.
One of the passengers who shared this on X appreciated the Nigerian Police and Army for securing the place while the technicians did their job to ensure everyone on board was safe.
