Kanayo O Kanayo advises youths to work hard instead of considering ritualism
Popular Veteran Nigerian actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, has shared a warning and also an advise to Nigerian youths to stay away from ritualism. He advised the young ones to work very hard and not take ritualism to be their shortcut or their way out. He disclosed that there is no connection between making money and sacrificing humans.
Kanayo O Kanayo is a famous nollywood actor who is known famously for his roles as a ritualist in nollywood movies. He disclosed that the role he plays in most movies is not the reality. He shared that those are movies not real life scenarios. He shared that youths should work hard to make their money.
Kanayo spoke as a guest in an online Town Hall Meeting, and it was here he shared this advice. He had been speaking on “Rituals, Riches, and Realities: The Myths of Money-Making and the Dignity of Labour,”. He stated that people make money by working hard not looking for shortcut and going into ritualism.
In his words " today, the in-thing is Yahoo Promax, which involves killing someone, eating the heart of the person and washing it down with Hennessy, and the belief that you will make money. I can’t see any connection between that and making money. Money is made through hard work.”
He shared his own experiences saying he made money by working hard not rituals or sacrifices. He revealed how Globacom signed him in 2016 and the money he made was quite plenty. He revealed that he made sacrifices by building a house instead of buying fancy cars and this was how he built his mansion.
