Nigerian singer Shekoni Solomon, professionally known as Khaid, has pledged to donate 100% royalties from his tribute song to Mohbad's son Liam Aloba and give his wife Omowunmi a sum of N2m.
The 18-year old singer revealed this in a post on his social media page yesterday saying, "In my own little way I'll love to support the family by giving N2 Million to the Wife of our late brother and cover 100% Royalties of the newly released tribute song “Forever” to Liam Aloba Eyinimofeoluwa."
The singer sang a tribute song in honor of Mohbad celebrating him and talking about how he touched his life while he was alive.
Khaid sang about how Mohbad is the Light that never dims and how his songs has been topping charts since his death and he's not even here to witness it.
He recalled how Mohbad gave him a bed to sleep in in his hotel room when he missed his flight.
