Popular Ex-Big Brother Naija star Kiddwaya has revealed how he thought he had covid back in 2020. Kiddwaya is a well-known Nigerian TV star who was on the Big Brother Naija Lockdown season 5 show and also the recent ongoing All Stars show.
He revealed that he thought he had Covid 19 back in 2020 when the disease was still rampant. He revealed that he had been wrongly prescribed and put on blood pressure medication for three months. He shared how this had almost cost him his life.
Kiddwaya shared this while speaking with Hero Daniels who is a Popular media personality. He had been asked about his lowest moment when he shared this incident in 2020.
He revealed that this had occurred about 8 weeks after he came out of the show in 2020. He revealed that prior to this everything had been fine and going smoothly.
He shared that he had then began experiencing some uncommon symptoms, and he had panicked. He assumed that he had gotten the COVID-19 virus as at that time.
He shared that he had contacted the doctor and he went through examination. They observed that his blood pressure was higher than normal. He was then placed on medication for the blood pressure which had turned out to be wrong.
He revealed that they later found out that his symptoms came from an anxiety attack and the medication he had been given could have killed him.
He mentioned that "In 2020 towards becoming famous. This was probably about eight weeks after the show. Everything was perfect, everything was good. One day, I was on my bed speaking to my cousin, then I stood up to go to the toilet, and my legs started shaking. This was during COVID-19 time. Then I kind of thought it was COVID. My legs started shaking and my tongue dried up when you can drink water but then it's not entering. I had a vision blur. Obviously, I was starting to panic."
He mentioned that "The doctors checked my BP and said it was very very high but they couldn't really figure out what it was. All they knew was that my BP was extremely high. So, they put me on BP drugs for months which was not what was supposed to be done. I actually could have died because what I had was an anxiety attack, it raised your BP high and then brought it back down to normal levels. They put me on BP drugs that were messing with my blood flow because I wasn't supposed to be on it. And I was on it for three months. So, I could have had some serious implications."
