Kidnappers release abducted victims in Kwara State after payment of N7million
Some kidnappers in kwara state who abducted a newly wed woman and her 2 sister-in-law have been released after a payment of N7million was made as ransom.
They were kidnapped at their home on Wednesday in Emir’s Road, in Ilorin East Local Government Area.
The woman who had just gotten married has been identified as Mrs. Rukkayat Musa, and her 2 sisters-in-law who were kidnapped were released yesterday.
A family member revealed that they were released in the early hours of the day, on Sunday.
The kidnappers had demanded N50 million as ransom initially but they pleaded with them to accept N7 million. After they made the payment, the victims were released.
The family members mentioned that it wasn't the Police who rescued them but the kidnappers who were released after they paid the ransom. They had reported to the Police Police but they couldn't rescue them.
