Killaboi has been arrested for the murder of late girlfriend, Augusta
A famous crypto lord Killaboi whose real name is Benjamin Best has finally been arrested by the Police for the murder of his late girlfriend and Influencer Augusta. Recall that sometime in July, Killaboi took to Instagram to narrate how he mistakenly stabbed his girlfriend to death in his Lagos apartment after a heated argument.
Knowing the gravity of his offense, he immediately went into hiding and fled the country and has been on the run ever since. A few weeks back, Augusta's mom revealed that her daughter was about to be buried and cried to the public to help her get Killaboi arrested. She said that Killaboi had tried to change the narrative of her daughter's death so he wouldn't be apprehended.
After a proper report at the Police station, Killaboi was declared wanted by the Nigerian Police and was arrested at a club in Sierra Leone. Some relatives of Augusta's mother hinted her about seeing someone who resembled Killaboi in Sierra Leone and quickly sprung into action. They traced him to the hotel where he lodged and presented his passport photograph to the hotel authorities.
Shockingly, Benjamin used a false identity to obtain a Sierra Leone passport on the 28th of July and has been hiding there ever since. He changed his name to Kanu Princeton Samuel and has been moving freely without remorse. Now, he has been arrested in Sierra Leone and will be shipped to Nigeria for proper investigation.
