Kobbie Mainoo made the headlines with a late sensational showing for Manchester United as the Red Devils scraped pass Wolves at the Molineux Stadium.

Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for Manchester United in the 5th minute before Ramsus Hojlund doubled the lead for the Old Trafford club in the 22nd minute.

United went into the first half with the two-goal lead as Wolves failed to find their way back into the game before the break.

It was a rollercoaster in the second half as both sides scored and counter-scored. Pablo Sarabia opened the scoring for the home side in the second half converting a 71st-minute spot-kick but Scott McTominay extended the lead again for the Red Devils.

With four minutes left before the end of regulation time, Kilman cut the deficit again for Wolves, bringing the scoreline to 3-2.

United held on till the 90th minute but was coming under intense pressure by the Gary O'Neil-led team.

In the 95th minute, Wolves late push for an equaliser yielded a result. An unmarked Neto wrong-footed Andre Onana with a low shot from inside the box to finally draw the game level.

Committing more bodies forward, United attempted to mount a quick response to return to the lead. Luck fell on the Old Trafford club just two minutes after Neto's equaliser.

Kobbie Mainoo got the ball close to Wolves box after a United offensive. He braved through Wolves defenders before curling a low shot pass Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.


The goal saw United scrape pass Wolves with a 4-3 victory to seal all three points in the Premier League.

It was Kobbie Mainoo's first Premier League goal in his 8 appearances for the club. The Stockport-born England youth player has been sensational since his breakout into Man United first team.
