Kwara police begin operation to rescue abducted family members
The kwara state police officers have begun their operations to rescue some abducted family members in the state.
They have begun searching through the forest to locate these people. The victims include 3 members of a family of an overseas returnee, a wife and 2 children.
They have been abducted in Okanle-Fajeromi community, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Mr Ajayi Okasanmi who is the spokesman of the Kwara Police Command, has confirmed the incident.
He revealed that the incident had been reported to the police on Monday and they had then begun to search for the victims.
Abdulfatai Olasunkanmi,, The Bale of the community who is the Olugbense of Okanle, was also able to confirm the incident.
He revealed that these gunmen had arrived at the community at midnight on Monday. He says the people were already asleep when they raided the house and abducted the 3 people.
