Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint Germain has reacted to the jaw-dropping criticism he has been subjected to after sending a letter to the French club.
The France international recently told the current Ligue 1 champions through a letter that he has no reason to stay at the French powerhouse beyond 2024 when his existing deal ends.
Kylian Mbappe, the former AS Monaco player decision has annoyed the club, steering to swarm bombshell from Paris Saint Germain, and the club have reportedly made him available for transfer this summer.
According to football insiders, The Paris side do not want to allow the 24-year-old to depart as a free agent when his current contract runs down in the summer of 2024, and the club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is said to be frantic over the possibility of selling the French striker.

The PSG superstar defended his decision to inform PSG by letter that he won’t trigger a 12-month extension on his current deal during a press conference while on international break.
The 24-year-old French captain has been at the center of attention all week after writing to tell PSG about his programs, by refusing the option to extend his contract.
The letter was sent before the France team met up for the Euro 2024 qualifier match against Gibraltar on Friday, 16th of June.
However, the transfer craze that ensued after the letter saga saw Mbappe linked once more with Real Madrid, who had previously offered 180 million euros ($190 million) for the striker in 2021.
During a press conference on Thursday, 15th of June, Mbappe said: “Honestly, I did not think I was going to offend anyone. I only sent a letter. I don’t know if a letter could kill someone. It’s just a letter. I don’t care about the reactions”.
He added: “At this moment, I’ve only one option, staying at PSG. I tried to be there when the season starts”.
Kylian Mbappe engaged his future with the club in 2022 by putting pen to paper on a deal that will run through the summer of 2024, after being strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid but now contends that he won’t take up an offer to extend it a year further into the summer of 2026.
However, Mbappe avoided answering questions regarding his time at PSG in favor of talking about his time with the French national team.

On Friday, 16th of June, Mbappe will be in action for France against Gibraltar where he will play his 69th International match and will be looking forward to adding to his 38 international goals.
In addition, PSG still has faith that they can convince Mbappe to stay, but this letter is a devastating blow. If Mbappe leaves PSG, the team’s hopes of winning the Champions League would fade, not progress.
