Peter Obi turns 62 today, the 19th of August, 2023. Even though the Labour Party Presidential candidate announced on his Twitter handle reasons he would not be celebrating his birthday, Obidients have made fliers to celebrate their icon on social media.
Obi said anyone who wishes to celebrate him should do so by supporting the less privileged in these unprecedented times. He emphasized the difficulties that have engulfed the nation and its citizen as the reason he will not accept gifts from anyone. He said, "Let me humbly and respectfully appeal to all those who desire to celebrate me with any kind of gifts, to look around them and extend such gifts to the people in need, especially in these difficult times. I urge them to visit hospitals, orphanages, and homes for the aged and people with disabilities, and offer them such generous gifts. They can also visit schools of basic studies in remote areas and support them with the basic amenities they need."

Peter Gregory Obi served as the Governor of Anambra State from 2006 to 2014. He is not only a politician, but an ardent businessman. He was a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) until May 2022 before he defected to the Labour Party to become its Presidential candidate, where he contested with his VP, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed.
Unfortunately, Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collated result was not in their favor.
While Peter Obi has filed a petition against the PDP's presidential candidate, the case is still in court as the Obidients are hopeful that the stolen mandate be recovered and handed to its owner.
