Seyi has gotten into trouble for the unfiltered remarks he made while conversing with the housemates. Firstly, he was beyond excited when he found out about what Ike did to provoke Ilebaye, which Pere condemned. But that wasn't a big deal until Seyi said he would have injured two of the female housemates if Biggie had disqualified Ike. Why on Earth would he say that?

Also, why would he even think of laying his hands on any of the female housemates talkless of injuring them? That statement was a rude awakening to viewers and immediately made them conclude that Seyi is a woman beater. Now, everyone thinks that he beats his wife at home because of how confident he sounded when he made that statement. He said, " If that boy was disqualified last night, one of those two girls would have collected an injury." That statement alone has tainted Seyi's image outside of the AllStars house.

Lagos Domestic and Sexual Violence said, "We strongly condemn the comments made by Seyi Awolowo in the disturbing video that has surfaced. Such remarks perpetuate harmful attitudes and contribute to a culture of violence and abuse." The bystanders' passive response in the video is also deeply concerning because it only enables such behavior to persist. It is important for us all to actively speak up in circumstances such as this."
