Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu swears in 37 cabinet members

The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sworn in 37 cabinet members. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of yhe All Progressives Congress (APC) is the current governor of Lagos. He is currently running his second term in Office.

He recently swore in 37 cabinet members comprising of commissioners and special advisers. This occured yesterday, Wednesday, September 13th 2023. The swearing-in ceremony was held at Adeyemi Bero Auditorium located in Alausa, Lagos. Out of this 37 cabinet members sworn in, 23 of them are commissioners while 14 others are special advisers.

Governor Sanwo-Olu urged these new appointees to make sure that their decisions are in the best interest of the people of Lagos state. He revaked that the expectations of the people of Lagos are high and these cabinet members must do their best to meet these expectations as its not an option. He also charged them to ensure their work is done excellently in every ramification. He advised advised to work together, and carry the people of the state along.

He also shared some photos of the event on his Twitter account.

He wrote via twitter "Today, I had the privilege of swearing in 37 Commissioners and Special Advisers. I charged them with the responsibility to work together collaboratively, building on the achievements of our administration's first four years in office. Our state executive council is a diverse blend of politicians and technocrats, comprising of 18 returning members from the previous cabinet and 19 new individuals".
