The Lagos State Police Command, during the court hearing of the inquest on Wednesday, 22nd November, told the coroner that a toxicology is being conducted on late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad's body in the US.
The Lagos State counsel Mr. O. Akinde revealed this to the court on Wednesday after the coroner queried him on why the autopsy results weren't ready.
Mr. O. Akinde responded that the toxicology test is being carried out in the US. Meanwhile, the magistrate Adetayo Shotobi asked why the test was being conducted abroad when it can be carried out in laboratories in Nigeria.
In response, Akinde said the certain samples of various substances taken by the deceased were transported to the US to prevent opposing opinions over the results when it is finally released.
