Late Nollywood actress, Oyabo Oko finally laid to rest
The late popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Oko, has been laid to rest. A funeral ceremony was held just recently and the late actress was buried. The burial ceremony was a quiet family event and was attended by her family and very close friends.
The actress's real name is Sidikat Odunkanwi but she is known popularly as Iyabo Oko and she was a Nigerian actress. Her popular movies are Idunnu okan and Okobo dimeji. She passed away over a month ago which was on the 28th of June, 2023.
She died after a prolonged battle with an unknown illness for years. She was 61 years old when she passed away.
The burial ceremony was held yesterday, Thursday, August 10 2023. They buried her in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Prior to her death, she had been away from the movie industry for a long time due to her ill health. The exact details of her death and the illness are still unknown till date. It was her daughter, Bisi Aisha, who had revealed that the actress had passed away. She had confirmed it on social media when she passed away saying "it is well with your soul mummy"
