Mr. Lere Olayinka, the media assistant to the ex-Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, took to social media to condemn the mother of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad. He said that Mohbad's mom abandoned her children for 15 years, and has received condolences and pity from many Nigerians.

Lere also claimed that Mohbad's mom who left her kids suddenly appeared after many years of departure to cry over a child she didn't tend to. To him, that was ridiculous and partly her fault. He mentioned how Mohbad's sister still lives with her dad and doesn't have a shop to her name, despite learning fashion design work.

Lere subtly blamed the mother of the deceased for not looking after the kids she should have protected from day 1. Meanwhile, the narrations on the internet claimed that Mohbad's mom always visited her son before he passed away. Yes, she left her husband 15 years ago but that didn't stop her from seeing her children.

Some Nigerians claimed that Mr. Here jumped to conclusions without a proper understanding of the situation.
