LIFTING OF SUSPENSION ON LASACO ASSURANCE PLC

This is to inform Trading License Holders and the investing public that the suspension placed on trading in the shares of Lasaco Assurance Plc has been lifted, effective Wednesday, 9 October 2024.
As previously communicated in our Market Bulletin of 8 July 2024 (Reference: NGXREG/IRD/MB35/24/07/08), the suspension was enacted in accordance with Rule 3.1 of the Rules for Filing of Accounts and Treatment of Default Filing (Default Filing Rules), which mandates the suspension of trading in an issuer's securities if the company fails to submit the relevant accounts within the prescribed Cure Period.
We are pleased to announce that Lasaco Assurance Plc has now successfully filed its Audited Financial Statements for the year ending 31 December 2023, as well as all other outstanding financial statements.
In compliance with Rule 3.3 of the Default Filing Rules, the suspension was lifted following the submission of the company's financials, which the Exchange has reviewed and confirmed to comply with applicable rules. The investing public and all relevant stakeholders are therefore notified that trading in Lasaco Assurance Plc shares has resumed.
