Lionel Richie and Katy Perry to perform at King Charles coronation
Popular musician Katy Perry and Lionel Richie are set to perform at the coronation of King Charles III.
The 2 are among others who will perform at a concert and this is to mark the coronation of the King of England.
The coronation concert will be televised and it is to be held on the Windsor Castle grounds in London.
This would be coming up on the 7th of May which is a day after King Charles is officially crowned king.
Some reports state that some other Popular celebrities including Harry Styles and Adele turned down the invitation to perform due to certain reasons best known to them.
Reports state that about 20,000 guests are set to attend this event physically other than those watching online.
Recall Katy Perry also performed in 2021 during the inauguration of the president of the US, Joe Biden.
Lionel Richie has expressed that the concert is an honour. He is 73 years old and nearly the same age as the king himself.
