Liverpool star Curtis Jones was apparently unimpressed with the way Arsenal signed off their 3-1 victory over Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.

A double goalkeeping blunder by Liverpool's Alisson Becker put the Reds to the sword and enlivened Arsenal's title hopes. The Gunners had gone into the lead early in the first half when Bukayo Saka scored a stunner but the Reds fought back to even the scores at the stroke of the first half, thanks to an own goal by Gabriel Magalhaes.

In the second half, Arsenal struck twice through Gabriel Martinelli and substitute Leandro Trossard to regain and extend the lead. The win saw the London outfit relaunch themselves into the Premier League title race as they close the gap on Liverpool to 2 points.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta stoked reactions after the match as he copied Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's end-of-match signature celebrations.

Klopp is known for his 'fist-pump' celebrations at Anfield when he wins a match. The German usually adds a twist of excitement at the end of matches pumping a closed fist severally in the direction of the home fans to celebrate wins at Anfield.

Arteta went petty, taking after a similar style of celebration as Klopp after Arsenal humbled Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium and it appears the move didn't go down well with Liverpool players such as Curtis Jones.

Speaking with the BBC, the Jones blasted Arsenal and Mikel Arteta for "stealing our stuff."

"In a respectful way, I'd say the celebrations and all that is all nice but for many years we've always been a team that... our fans are spoken about, and the gaffer himself, the way he fist-pumps the fans and stuff.

"That's kind of like our thing. So if they want to be stealing our stuff then it shows that we're on the right path and we've got these who are copying us," Jones said.

The loss to Arsenal left the Premier League title race widely open with Manchester City set to go top of the table if they win their one outstanding match. Meanwhile, Liverpool will be hoping to return to gears when they take on Burnley at Anfield.
