Liverpool have confirmed the club will continue on their documentary proceedings to capture Jurgen Klopp's last months in the dugout as Liverpool manager.
Klopp, 56, will step down at the end of the season as Liverpool manager, ending his storied spell with the Reds.
Regarded as one of the best hands at Anfield, Liverpool are planning to immortalize his moments with the club with a well-scripted and detailed documentary, club sources confirmed.
According to the Athletic, Liverpool started the documentary in December 2023 after Jurgen Klopp informed them of his decision to leave back in November 2023.
However, the club did not make the documentary proceedings public as they kept Klopp's resignation secret pending when the German came out public as he did.
As Klopp announced his decision to resign, the club have now publicly disclosed the documentary plan.
As expected maximum cooperation is expected from the playing and non-playing staff as cameras will be carried to and fro the club's vicinity to film the players, coaching staff, and other staff of the club.
Jurgen Klopp had reportedly accepted the documentary plan as it will provide viewers and the club's fans a detailed coverage of the club's activities on the spot and behind the scenes.
“With this being my final season, I thought we should provide a rare opportunity for viewers to have more of an inside look at what makes this club so special - its people,” Klopp said.
“From our fans to our players and those who work so hard behind the scenes, constantly in pursuit of success for Liverpool Football Club. Thanks to this new documentary series viewers will be able to see what I see every day at this great club, and understand those amazing people more.”
As per club sources, the documentary will cover exclusive interviews with Klopp, Liverpool's dressing room dynamics, matches, trophy wins under Klopp, transfers, and other key institutions of the club.
It will be premiered at the end of the season when Klopp will bid farewell to Anfield.
