The partnership of Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah looks to be “The Bomb”, as they have both contributed to the success of one another in the 2023/24 season.

Liverpool, who previously enjoyed the seismic partnership of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, have once again seemingly cracked another code.

The departure of Mane last season affected the Reds, with Salah shouldering predominantly most of the goalscoring responsibilities of the club last season.

However, fans of the English giants can beam with celebration as Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah look to be balling nicely together.

Liverpool also had the benefit of enjoying Roberto Firmino's brilliance, which made the partnership of Sadio Mane, Salah and the Brazilian become a trio.

In the absence of a possible trio currently, the Reds can bank on the partnership of Nunez and Mohamed Salah.

Darwin Nunez joined Liverpool from Benfica on July 1, 2022, for a fee of €80 million.

He struggled throughout his first season in England, as he didn't adapt quickly to life at Anfield.

Nunez missed several goal-scoring chances last season and he became widely recognized for his horrendous misses.

The 24-year-old also found it hard to lead the line for the Reds, as he couldn't interpret the pattern of manager Jurgen Klopp really well.

He scored 15 goals and provided 4 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool last season.

The Uruguayan looks to have settled into life in England amazingly well, and it has been rightly visible this campaign.

Despite not being a starter at the start of the season, he has won back the hearts of the fans and Klopp, who has handed him the starting shirt in recent matches.

Darwin Nunez has scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists in 17 appearances so far this campaign.

Anyway, in terms of the Salah-Nunez partnership, the pair have assisted each other 5 times this term, 2 more than Arsenal's Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard, who cue behind with 3.

Additionally, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez have created 19 chances for one another, and they also top the rankings for the Premier League.

Moussa Diaby and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa follow in 2nd, with Manchester City's Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland sitting 3rd.

The pair have amassed just 582 Premier League minutes together, a small number when comparing it to other duos in the league, like Diaby and even Watkins, who have amassed about 936 minutes.

Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah also have an amazing bromance-like relationship off the field and even on the field, in contrast to the Mane-Salah partnership.

This looks to have been beneficial to Liverpool this campaign, as they sit 2nd in the Premier League table, with 28 points from 12 matches.

Jurgen Klopp's side drew 1-1 with Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Liverpool remain 2nd on the Premier League table, the position they were before the encounter against the Cityzens.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah is 2 goals shy of 200 goals for Liverpool, a really massive feat, with only 4 previous players for the club; Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hodgson, and Billy Liddell reaching that tally.

Salah has scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists in 17 appearances across all competitions this season.
