PSG manager Luis Enrique has denied any knowledge of Mbappe's resolve to take a decision on his PSG future soon.
As per reports, Mbappe, who has six months left on his PSG contract, will decide on his PSG future soon.
The French talismanic footballer was free to enter into contract talks with other clubs as the January transfer windows but has refused to do so with the transfer window closing today.
This means he could leave PSG as a free agent at the end of the season if he doesn't sign a new contract. Spanish outlets claim Kylian Mbappe will soon declare publicly his decision on his PSG future.
In a press conference ahead of PSG Ligue 1 clash with RC Strasbourg, PSG manager Luis Enrique was asked whether he is aware of Kylian Mbappe's intention to make a public declaration on his PSG future.
In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Luis Enrique declines any knowledge of the rumored declaration. The former Barcelona manager candidly said;
''Kylian Mbappe has not told me anything."
Mbappe turned down a recent contract renewal offer from PSG. Sources close to the player reveal he is bent on leaving the club at the end of the season.
Real Madrid have been touted as his next destination, having been on the radar of the club since 2021. However, reports are linking him with a move to Liverpool as well with the Reds reportedly hoping to sign the player as a replacement for Saudi-bound Mohamed Salah.
As things stand, Mbappe's next stop is only a subject of speculation. PSG hierarchy have been hesitant to let him leave on a free transfer but it appears they are now powerless trying to stop the 25-year-old from exiting the club.
According to Goal.com, Kylian Mbappe will forfeit €80m contract bonus if he leaves PSG on a free transfer. Despite starting this season on the back of dragging contract row with PSG which delayed his appearance for the club, Mbappe has 19 goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG with 3 assists.
