A man known as Samuel Erukoghene Okoro has embarked on a trip worth 1,200km on a bicycle from the capital of Yobe State Damaturu to his hometown in Asaba, Delta.

Samuel Okoro has lived in Yobe for about a decade and he hasn't been to his hometown ever since. He decided to use this medium to not only visit his state but also honor the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.

Okoro said he has undergone a series of tests at the Yobe State Teaching hospital before embarking on this tedious journey and he is more than capable of getting to the end. Okoro said the trip will take him a minimum of 10 days and 12 days at most.

He added that he has a letter from his tribesmen also residing in Yobe State which will be delivered to the Delta State governor on his arrival.
