Man kills only son amidst argument in Akwa Ibom.


A man has been found guilty of killing his only son during an argument which ensued between the both of them.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command paraded this man who killed his son. This man has been identified as Aniekan James.
His late son's name is Odudu James. The cause of the argument which led to the young man's death is yet to be known.

Olatoye Durosinmi, who is the state Commissioner of Police, disclosed this information while they were parading him.

They paraded him alongside 268 people who had been arrested for various crimes.

They revealed that they arrested him on June 16, 2023. He had shot his 35 year old son and was arrested by the Ukanafun division.

They also suspect him to be guilty of committing other murder offenses in the state.
