Man laments outrageous drug prices at a Lekki Pharmacy
A married Nigerian man laments the increase in the prices of drugs in Nigeria after his recent encounter at a Lekki Pharmacy. He wanted to get some painkillers and cough syrup for his daughter and the pharmacist told him that everything amounted to over N45,000. He couldn't believe his ears after that and had to call his wife to verify whether those were the new prices or if he was about to be scammed.
Alas, his wife was also shocked to hear the prices of the cough syrup and that was the moment he knew he had to look for other alternatives. Quickly, he asked Google for natural alternatives to treating cough and the search engine prescribed lemon and honey. He then went to purchase that with less than N4,000, took it home, and prepared it for his child. And in less than 24 hours, the little girl had healed. The natural remedy saved bim over N40,000, and cured his child.
