United confirmed in a club statement Martinez will return soon from his injury based on the latter's recent interview with the club's features editor Steve Bartram.
“Well, I am really good, I am really good, honestly,” he explains with a smile.
“My rehab is going amazingly, in the way that I want, I am feeling strong, doing everything right with Ibra [Ibrahim Kerem] the physio, he has been amazing.
“And also the medical department, they take care of me from day one so it was really important. Yeah, all is perfect for me.” Licha said on the interview.
Lisandro Martinez was among Erik ten Hag's first signings last summer. The Argentine center-back joined Manchester United for £56.7m from Ajax on a five-year contract.
