According to reports, five players are set to face the axe as the Dutch rounds up his squad. trimming.

Leading the list of players set to depart the club is Anthony Martial. Martial will run out of his Man United contract at the end of this season.

The French striker has a one-year extension clause attached to his deal. It was previously thought United will trigger the one-year extension but latest report from the Sun has revealed Erik ten Hag will not extend Martial's contract.

He will be free to enter into contract talks with suitors in January, and could be sold by the club then or leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Casemiro is also linked to a possible exit from the club. The £60m signing from Real Madrid had a great start to life with United last season. This season, he has grappled with niggling injury issues that has reduced his game time.

He has made only 8 Premier League appearances for Manchester United this season, spending more time on the sidelines.

Manchester United soon-to-be co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe was reportedly displeased with his signing, and will hopefully do away with the player when he takes over the reins in United sporting and footballing operations.

Casemiro has been linked to a move to Al Nassr with Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly pushing for a reunion with the former Real Madrid teammate.

Raphael Varane is also among the list of players expected to leave the club this summer. Varane has struggled from game time since his return from injury.

He has lost his starting berth to Harry Maguire, and is reportedly out of terms with Erik ten Hag for dropping him off the pecking order in United's defense options.

He has been linked to an exit from the club with Bayern Munich interested in a move for the player.

Donny Van de Beek is another player on the list. Van de Beek has struggled for game time since Erik ten Hag came onboard. He is already on his exit route from Old Trafford.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed United have reached agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for the player.

Jadon Sancho completes the five-man list. Sancho is linked to a move to Juventus following his fallout with Erik ten Hag since September 3, 2023.

Borussia Dortmund are also reportedly interested in the English winger, and have reportedly open talks with United for the player.
