On August 8, 2023, Major League Soccer announced that Miljevic’s contract had been terminated for “engaging in conduct detrimental to the league.” This was following reports that Miljevic had violated league rules by playing in an amateur league using a fake name, and that he had been banned from the amateur league for punching another player in the face.
