Megan Markle Donates to Nigerian flood victims
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex and his wife,Meghan Markle have donated an unspecified amount to victims affected by the flood in Nigeria.
This donation was made for the victims of the Anambra, Bayelsa flood victims just a few days after Megan disclosed that she was 43% Nigerian.
These donations, though the amount is undisclosed, would help provide relief to victims after the terrible floods that occurred in Nigeria which claimed lives.
The flood was a serious one which caused destruction, claimed lives, injured many and displaced 1.3 million people.
This flood is similar to that of 2012 which claimed so many lives and displaced millions of people in Nigeria.
Prince Harry and Megan made the donation through their foundations, the Archewell Foundation to provide this assistance to the victims.
It was confirmed that the foundation had donated to UNICEF and Save the Children.
Meghan had mentioned during an episode of her podcast just a few days ago, that she found out from her genealogy that she was 43% Nigerian.
