She spoke about this, her mixed-race heritage during a new episode of her Spotify-exclusive podcast, Archetypes.
She said this to Ziwe, a Nigerian-American actor during this episode.
She mentioned that she discovered this news about her roots when she had her genealogy done a few years back. She plans to dig deeper into her ancestors.
