Solomon Buchi wrote a lengthy word of advice, preaching to men on why they should be kind to their wives.

He sighted an example of the relationship between actress Joke Silva and her husband, Olu Jacobs.

Recently, Joke Silva was interviewed on Nancy Isime's show. When asked about her relationship, she said that it's been difficult for her ever since her husband was diagnosed with dementia.

Solomon pointed out that the actress takes care of her husband because he had been kind to her.

"I like to believe that one of the reasons Joke Silva gladly takes care of Olu Jacobs, who’s been struggling with dementia for a couple years is because of how responsible of a husband and father he was when in good health."

The life coach urged men to be compassionate, considerate, and kind to their spouses so that their wives can be kind to them when the need arises.

He further stated "It is easy to bear the burden of love when you know that if roles were reversed, your partner will do same. Marriage with a sickly person is hard, it must take love to stay. In fact, something greater than ‘love’, which is commitment."

Meanwhile, Solomon Buchi has a counter-intuitive view regarding people who say that "Women don't love men." He said the statement is a demeaning anthem that's been recited to the ears of many.

In his words, "Women don’t love men. A tall anthem from the alpha male coven, absolutely ridiculous and demeaning to the sacrifice I know some women make in their marriages. Joke loves Olu, and she’s taking care of him in sickness. It’s not respect that he needs right now; it’s love and care."

It takes a great deal of love, not respect to live and care for a sick husband.

He continued, "Dementia is really difficult to deal with. Joke says that she no longer recognizes the man she married. It must be arduous, but she’s holding it together. Marriage is choosing someone to handle the uncertainties of life with. Crazy how many think it’s all roses and sex."

He concluded by urging men to be kind to their wives. "She will save your life one day (if not on most days), leave your family with good memories and legacy. First do it as a duty with no expectations, but it’ll grow in the hearts of your wife and kids."
