Reality TV star TolaniBaj has stated that men should be more present in their children's lives.
In a recent podcast episode, TolaniBaj speaks on how the presence of the parents influence how the children turn out to be in future. Using herself as an example, she revealed that if her parents weren't divorced, she wouldn't have become a celebrity because her father didn't allow her to.
She revealed that her father wanted her to study hard and get her PhD. He believed that the entertainment industry isn't a place to start a career but her mother was the only one who believed in her.
In contribution, Moet Abebe said the man's role shouldn't be limited to just providing for the family and paying the bills. She said even though her father was a provider and she schooled in England, there is a void in her that needs to be filled.
On her own part, TolaniBaj said she always wondered why her father was unavailable but she realized that fathers of the older generation were raised that way. She said men should learn to play the fatherly role in every aspect. They should attend PTA meetings, help with school assignments and spend time with their kids.
