Mic thrown by Cardi B at concert goes up for auction for charity
The microphone which popular American rapper Cardi B threw at a fan recently has been put up for auction.
Cardi B is a popular rapper and she recently had a microphone incident at a concert which went viral.
A fan had splashed some water on her during a concert and she retaliated by throwing her microphone at the fan. Cardi B had gotten sued for battery by the person who got hit by the microphone at the concert however the criminal battery investigation has been dropped and Cardi B has been cleared of these. This was due to insufficient evidence.
The microphone was originally bought for $1000. The mic is now up for auction on eBay.
They began the price at $500 and as at last night, it had gone up to $94,900. The price is nearing a $100k
This microphone was listed on ebay by Scott Fisher. His company provides audio support to many big night clubs in vegas.
They were able to point out the exact mic Cardi B used after the show because a white tape with the words Main was written on it.
He revealed that they will divide the money between 2 charities which are the Wounded Warrior Project and another named Friendship Circle Las Vegas.
Recall when Cardi B threw the mic, it hit two people instead of one. One of them then pressed charges against Cardi B.
Recall the rapper had asked the concert goers to splash her some water which this person did on to get a mic thrown at her.
