Britain's oldest striker, Mike Fisher had an amazing birthday after he scored five goals on his special day.

Fisher, who plays walking football, currently turns out for Walsall-based Old Corinthians.

At 90 years old, most people are content to sit back and relax, but not Mike Fisher. This incredible British senior citizen defies the stereotypes of aging and continues to pursue his passion for football.

On his 90th birthday, Mike Fisher managed to do what many players half his age struggle with - scoring not one or two, but five goals for his local team Old Corinthians.

Fisher, affectionately known as "Ninja," started playing soccer 75 years ago in 1949, according to The Mirror.

It is understood that the former RAF veteran striker plays three times a week, and averages a hat-trick in each of those matches.

He started playing football as a child and his love for the football game has only grown stronger over the years.

On his milestone birthday, Fisher's teammates and opponents were initially surprised to see him dazzled on the field, but they quickly learned not to underestimate him.

Fisher celebrated his recent birthday with his teammates at Sneyd Community Association.

With his skilled footwork and impressive speed, the 90-year-old managed to find the back of the net not once, but five times during the match, much to the amazement of everyone in attendance.

After the game, Fisher was surrounded by well-wishers and fans who wanted to congratulate him on his impressive feat on his special day.

Nicknamed Ninja by his teammates, Fisher has previously expressed his love for football and revealed that there are times he has scored as many as 10 goals in a single match.

When asked about his secret to staying fit and agile at his age, he simply said: "I still love football and I'll keep going for as long as I can - or at least while I'm still scoring regularly. That feeling of scoring goals never gets old - even if I am."

"I've lost count of how many I've scored but I get four or five a game. A few times I have scored ten in a match."

Mike Fisher's incredible display of athleticism and determination serves as a reminder that truly, age is just a number.

The 90-year-old incredible goal scorer also explains why people call him "Ninja"

Mike said: "They all call me Ninja because they say I'm gone in the blink of an eye, just like that."

"One minute you think you've collared me and the next minute I'm gone and the ball is in the back of the net."

"If you ask anyone if they play with Mike Fisher, they won't have a clue who you're on about - but if you say 'do you play with Ninja' they will know who you mean."

Meanwhile, as for Mike, he has no plans of slowing down and is already looking forward to scoring more goals in the coming year.

Despite his advanced age, the free-scoring striker is keen to play until his 91st birthday, according to BBC.
