Miss tourism Nigeria says her mission is to lift people out of poverty
Miss Tourism Nigeria, Joy Ekekwe has revealed that her mission is to lift people out of poverty.
Joy is the newly crowned Miss Tourism of Nigeria. She went ahead to reveal that she has a mission which includes projects that will lift many Nigerians who live in poverty, out of it.
She plans to accomplish this during her tenure as Miss Tourism.
She revealed that she plans to partner with the appropriate authorities in the tourism sector. This is so as to promote Nigeria and allow the world to experience our rich and beautiful country through herself.
Joy is an entrepreneur and a financial educator. She is a trained food processor and also happens to be the founder of Heldi Global Products. This is a meat processing company that produces Kilishi (beef jerky)
She revealed all these plans during the pageantry. This was the 11th Miss Tourism Nigeria contest. This event is organized by QHUE Concepts and it held in Lagos.
She shared her experience on the pageantry and revealed that she was confident about winning. She also noted that it takes more than looks now to wear the crown.
She also spoke about her business which produces kilishi and mentioned that they export to the UK, US, Canada, Dubai, Cameroon, Ghana.
In July, she will be heading to Sri Lanka and she will represent Nigeria in the Miss World Tourism. Here she will compete with pageantry queen's from all over the world.
