Missing cab driver found dead after 2 months
A cab driver has been found dead in Lagos after 2 months. He had been declared missing for some time and now 2 months later he has been found dead.
The driver works for a taxi app lnown as Bolt, and he has been identified as Aiyu Eromosele Thomas. He was reported missing in February, 2023.
This man was 34 years old. Reports stated that he was booked for a ride by a passenger who is yet to be identified.
His vehicle was a Toyota Corolla. This car was found abandoned the day after the ride was booked.
A police patrol team made the discovery. They saw the car which was abandoned by the road in Ojota in Lagos.
The deceased’s older brother mentioned that the case was reported at Meiran Police station. He said that eventually it moved to the headquarters of the police Command in Lagos.
They mentioned that the deceased cab man left his home early that morning by 7:30am for his driving work. It was thier mother who raised the alarm when he didn't return and his phone numbers weren't going through.
The family was unable to trace where he was and then reported to the Police. The taxi company also provided the police information that could assist in the investigation.
