Netizens have reacted heavily to the news circulating that all the members of the Senate and House of Representatives are going to receive a brand new SUV each.
Each member will soon be going home with a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Prado 2023 model SUV which is valued at about N160M each.
107 Toyota Land Cruisers and 358 Toyota Prado 2023 models will be shared to all the members of the Senate and the House of Representatives. A sum of N50M was spent on a vehicle in 2019 for all the members of the 9th Assembly.
This news generated several reactions across social media as Nigerians said it is inhumane for the Nigerian government to spend money on cars and neglect the citizens' demands.
